True Cost Of Racing

Like much of the country I saw some of the Grand National coverage yesterday. And like many I joined in the sweepstake at work.

But if two of the 40 horses are going to die I want nothing to do with it. Thats too high a price for "entertainment".

RIP Ornais and Dooney’s Gate. Thats enough death at the races

You would think that a ‘sport’ that is animal based would be at the forefront of animal welfare.

This shows in all its glory that horseracing is a ‘Caring for the wallet’ pastime and nothing more.
