Wokingham Issues

After years of coalition cuts many services have deteriorated. The NHS is suffering and needs investment. Many Schools are being stretched beyond their capacity. Police cuts have consequences too.

For decades governments have sold off council houses but not invested in new homes. There is a huge demand for social/affordable houses. And that in order to maintain the sense of community that is so important to Wokingham, developments must include community spaces and facilities - not just housing.

Our policy is for "secure affordable housing for everyone" see link https://www.greenparty.org.uk/we-stand-for/decent-homes.html

Meanwhile the rail fares go up and congestion gets worse. We would renationalise the railways. And invest in green jobs, particularly for young people.

The top 1% have done well out of this government, it's time for the 99% . For a future fair for all Vote Green in May the 7th.
