Naomi Klein, The Shock Doctrine in Iraq and beyond



Naomi Klein, award winning journalist and author of the renowned anti-globalisation manual No Logo, will be in London at Friends Meeting House on 19 May for the launch of the paperback edition of her latest book, The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism.

She will be discussing the shock doctrine and the corporate takeover of Iraq, as well as signing copies of her book which will be on sale. The event is hosted by the Hands Off Iraqi Oil campaign and all proceeds will be split between the Iraqi Federation of Oil Unions and Hands Off Iraqi Oil.
