During the Freedom to Protest assembly on Saturday, Brian Haw (who was peacefully filming events in Whitehall) was violently attacked by a territorial support group policeman who allegedly lashed out at him, smashing his camera into his face and causing a deep cut. police then arrested Brian for an unspecified public order offense and further assaulted him in a police van.

Brian has been protesting for over 6 years, is this years Channel 4’s Most Politically Inspiring Person of 2007. Also this years Turner prize is a an exact replica of Brian Haw's Parliament Square protest installation. Ive been to Parliament Square twice to support him, I think he should get a medal for what he is doing.
