Earthship Brittany

I have helped with the Brighton Earthship, and also one in Spain, http://greenreading.blogspot.com/2007/12/earthship-in-spain.html. Here is a chance to take part in one in Britany, France.

A small number of people are wanted to join the team on one of our 'experience weeks' in late August and September, held at the ancient woodland site of Kernomb. If you are interested in helping out with carpentry on the interiors, bottle walls, landscaping or stone masonry, or just general labouring, please visit our photo blog at www.groundhouse.co.uk

STONEWORK - WE URGENTLY NEED TWO INDIVIDUALS WHO WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH OUR BRETON STONE MASON DURING SEPTEMBER. THIS IS A CHANCE TO LEARN ABOUT STONEWORK ON THE EXTERIOR FACES OF THE ECOBUILD. WE WILL BE UNEARTHING ROCK FROM THE OLDS RUINS ON SITE TO BUILD UP THE NEW WALLS. NO SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED.

Find out more at http://www.groundhouse.co.uk/EXPERIENCE_WEEKS.html

We have run 6 highly successful 'experience weeks' in 2007 and 2008, providing people with great food in a stunning location.

" Want to be involved in an exciting, innovative and rewarding project? Then get down to Daren and Adi's place in Brittany! I had a memorable week in 2007 on the 1st phase of their build. It was hard work, brilliant fun and if only 10% of this couples energy and enthusiasm rub off I guarantee you'll be inspired!" Jon Findlay, 2007 Experience Week Participant
