peace walk 2

Today I rejoined the peace walk from Maidenhead to Slough. I showed the others our group picture in todays Post, and will increase cirulation by geting them all copies. The weather continued to be warm and sunny, almost to warm to walk. It wasnt arduous though, we finished early in the afternoon. The highlight was being accompanied by Bruce Kent, who is a modest man, great to talk to, funny and a true gent.

We had a rest stop in a Park in Slough, it was great to be in the shade of trees. Unfortunately the grass was covered in bits of broken glass, and there was no public toilet. We finished the walk at the friends meeting house, where we had a very warm reception, with lots of juice and tea to revive us.
